Canteen

The Dorrigo Public School canteen, 'Kookies Kitchen', is a P&C operated canteen. It is overseen by our supportive P&C Committee and run by our friendly volunteers. This is a great healthy option for the nutrition of your child and we are a member of the Healthy School Canteen association.

Canteen opening times

The canteen is open for lunch on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Order from our canteen

Orders can be placed via the Flexischools app or online via the Flexischools website. Orders must be placed online by 9:15am and will be delivered to your child's classroom in the lunch baskets.

Alternatively, you can use a paper bag or reusable lunch wallet for ordering. These can be dropped at the canteen or placed in the box at the office at the commencement of the day. Please ensure your child's lunch order is clearly labelled with their name and class.

Order online

To order with Flexischools please follow these steps:

1. Go to https://flexischools.com.au/
2. Click 'Register Here' to create an account. Registration is easy and free
3. Follow the steps on your screen to create a profile.
4. Once you've created your profile, add your child/ren under the 'Students' section.
5. You are now ready to top up your Flexischool wallet and begin ordering lunch!

Once registered you can download the Flexischools App.

Order offline

If you do not have internet access, orders can be dropped off at the canteen each morning by 9:15 am. On your child's bag please write their:

• name
• class
• order

All orders must be handed into the canteen with exact payment. If you do not have the correct payment we will endeavour to accommodate, but since we are a predominately Flexischools canteen, this is not always possible.

Please note that credit cannot be given.

As with all volunteer organisations, our success is dependent upon the goodwill of the volunteers. We invite you to join our team! Our volunteers have different levels of commitment. Some volunteer on a weekly basis while others once per term. Any time you are able to give us is very much appreciated. If you are able to help in any way, please contact the school office.
